Leopardus

The ocelot line is a genus of South American cats (Leopardus). It consists of at least 7 species. The most famous are the ocelot, the Andean cat, which always looks sleepy, and the oncilla, which hides so well that no one knows how it reproduces properly. All of these cats have 36 chromosomes, instead of 38 like all other cats.
